The development of innovative technologies including artificial intelligence (AI) technology has brought about a richer life but at the same time has also raised ethical issues. The background to the emergence of the importance of technological ethics includes the development of science and technology new ethical choices environmental issues and intergenerational responsibility. Human-Centered Design seeks to distribute the benefits of technological development fairly to all consider the socially vulnerable and pursues design for a sustainable future. It also respects users as dignified human beings and emphasizes ethical responsibility in the design process. This study presented the key elements and practical guidelines of Human-Centered Design.
The development of future technology will deepen the interdependence between society and technology and cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence biotechnology and nanotechnology offer infinite possibilities but may also raise ethical and social issues. It is necessary to consider ethical values ​​from the technological development stage and develop technology based on social consensus creating resonance between society and technology.
Human-centered design is a philosophy that sets the ultimate goal of technological development as "improving the quality of human life" and designs technology to meet human needs and wants. This means that we must pursue user-friendly designs that comprehensively consider the user's experience and social context and maximize the user's convenience, efficiency, and satisfaction.
