Purpose: The purpose of this research is to assess the competitive landscape of medical tourism in India, exploring factors such as infrastructure, quality of care, regulatory framework, pricing, and marketing strategies. The study aims to identify India's competitiveness in the global medical tourism market, providing insights for stakeholders and policymakers to enhance the industry's growth and promote India as a preferred destination for medical tourists. Research design, data and methodology: The research utilizes a hybrid analysis, integrating Global RPM with MEDILIER aspects, and employs a comprehensive survey sampling process for strategic planning in the medical tourism sector. The goal is to contribute to the understanding of growth drivers in medical tourism and propose effective strategies for development. Results: According to the analysis, highlight familiarity and positive perceptions of Indian medical tourism, emphasizing global collaboration benefits and acknowledging challenges. The study advocates a global marketing strategy, emphasizing cost-effectiveness and promoting medical value travel for sustained global leadership. Conclusions: India's medical tourism industry demonstrates robust growth, driven by cultural richness, skilled medical personnel, and cost-effectiveness, yet challenges persist, requiring collaborative efforts for infrastructure enhancement and regulatory measures to ensure patient safety and uphold quality standards.
