This study was conducted to examine the process of change by performing Gestalt art therapy on child who are experiencing peer relationship conflicts and difficulties in self-expression. The study participant was 5-year-old male child attending kindergarten, and Gestalt art therapy was conducted once a week for 50 minutes per session, over a total of 12 sessions from March 12 to June 11, 2024. To find out the changes in child, HTP pre-post-test was performed with projection diagnosis, and the process of change for each session was qualitatively analyzed. The results of the study are as follows. First, art therapy applying the Gestalt theory brought a change in the relationship to child with difficulties in peer relationship conflict and was able to have a smooth relationship with friends in kindergarten. Second, in the process of Gestalt art therapy, the child's ability for self-expression was improved so that his opinion could be clearly conveyed. Through these results, it can be seen that Gestalt art therapy brought positive changes to child with peer relationship conflicts and difficulties in self-expression, and various techniques can be used according to the child's level.
