장애인무용축제의 특성과 방향 = Characteristics and Future of the Disabled Dance Festival

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 장애인무용축제의 특성을 살펴보고 축제의 역할과 방향에 대해 제언하는 데 있다. 장애인무용축제는 대한민국장애인국제무용제와 한국장애인무용협회의 라라미댄스페스티벌을 살펴보았다. 장애인무용축제는 축제를 진행하면서 실질적으로 장애인 시설이 부족한 공공장소의 문제점을 발견하고 공간을 변화시키는 역할, 한정적인 장애인무용단의 한계를 극복할 수 있는 새로운 단체 및 전문인력 발굴, 동류애가 강한 장애인 문화를 조화롭게 정리해줄 수 있는 교차적 역할, 국제 규모의 축제는 국내 축제가 되지 않도록 국제로서의 방향성을 재고하고, 국내 축제는 장애인 예술 컨텐츠 개발에 집중해야할 것, 장애인들에게 안정된 공연 환경 제공, 장애인을 위한 예술을 할 수 있는 전문성과 인성을 갖춘 인재를 양성할 수 있는 기회 마련 등에 기여할 것을 제언하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of the ‘Dance Festival for the Disabled’ and to suggest a role and direction for the festival henceworth. The ‘Dance Festival for the Disabled’ used the Korea International Dance Festival for the Disabled and the LALAME Dance Festival of the Korea Dance Association for the Disabled as a viewpoint. The dance festival for the disabled should play a role in changing the space as problems in public places that lack facilities for the disabled can be found during the festival. It should also play a cross role in finding new organizations and professionals who can overcome the limitations of the limited dance troupe for the disabled, and harmonizing with the culture of those with disabilities, with its strong connection with society.
In addition, international-scale festivals should review their plans as an international festival in ensure that it does not become a domestic festival, and domestic festivals should focus on developing art contents for the disabled. Finally, it was suggested to provide a stable performing environment for the disabled and to contribute to preparing opportunities for cultivating talented people with the expertise and character to do art.
