[Purpose] The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of rehabilitation exercise on musculoskeletal lateral epicondylitis, which is manifested by pain and inflammation in the lateral epicondyle of the elbow joint, and to present basic data for a rehabilitation exercise program. [Method] To derive the results, literature related to lateral epicondylitis injuries and rehabilitation exercises was reviewed, and a literature search was conducted using domestic and overseas databases. [Result] As a result of the study, various exercises including isometric exercise, extensor contraction exercise, flexibility exercise, and functional and event-specific exercise were performed for golf lateral epicondylitis rehabilitation exercise. These rehabilitation exercises have been reviewed as being able to reduce pain, improve range of motion, increase muscle strength, and promote successful return to sports or daily activities. [Conclusion] As confirmed through this study, effective rehabilitation and injury prevention for golfer's lateral epicondylitis hinges on the consistent execution of a customized exercise program that encompasses various methods. This program should include isometric exercises, eccentric contraction exercises, flexibility exercises, as well as functional and sport-specific exercises, each appropriately selected according to the stage.
