허균의 시선집 『당절선산(唐絶選刪)』의 구성과 선시(選詩) 양상 = The Composition and the Aspect of Choosing Poemsof Dangjeolseonsan(唐絶選刪)

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Dangjeolseonsan(唐絶選刪) is one of the three anthologies that Heo Gyun edited. Volumes 1- 5 contain a five-character quatrain, and Volumes 6–10 contain a seven-character quatrain. Volume 1 is selected from Lee Pan-lung’s anthology; Volume 2 from Xu Chong’s; Volumes 3 and 4 from Yang Shihong’s; Volume 5 from Gao Bing’s. The seven-character quatrain is in the same order.
Earlier, Heo Gyun compiled Dangsiseon(唐詩選). At that time, he first selected poems from Tangshipinhui(唐詩品彙), and then selected from Tangyin(唐音) that were popular in the past and Gujinshishan(古今詩刪) popular these days. In this process, he realized that the greatest poetry of the Tang Dynasty was the Quatrain. He eventually compiled Dangjeolseonsan.
However, comparing Dangjeolseonsan and Gujinshishan, it can be seen that Heo Gyun quantitatively accepted Lee Pan-lung’s opinions. He did not criticize that Lee had a partial taste for poems with strong and powerful, remarkable and unique tendencies; he actively embraced the well-known work.
