Song Ho-mun(1862-1907) as a member of the Hanju School was a scholar representing the Hapcheon region. Along with his younger brother Song Ho-eon(1865-1907), he had a local reputation comparable to that of the chinese philosopher Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi . He studied family studies without leaving his hometown for the rest of his life, practiced Tao in his life, and added depth to his studies by interacting with figures from the Hanju School.
On the other hand, Ha Gyeom-jin and others praised his poems. The poems published in his anthology show sincerity that reveals his character as it is, and adopts the method of loading reason through scenery. In addition, rather than a sharp and fierce argument, he looks at the surroundings with warm eyes and reveals his devout personality that gently comforts and encourages through poetry. Although his poem explains the theory, it is also a literary achievement.
