러시아어 미각어 ‘сладкий’의 의미 확장과 개념화 양상 연구 = A study on the Meaning Extension and Aspects of Conceptualization of the Russian Taste-terms 'Sweet'

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to analyze the lexical meaning expansion and conceptualization aspects of Russians from a cognitive linguistic point of view, focusing on the adjective ‘сладкий’, which represents sweetness among taste words. The taste-terms ‘сладкий’ effectively expresses a variety of human psychology or emotions, and can be frequently seen to be extended to other sensory domains and utilized. Through this, from a cognitive linguistic point of view, the conceptual structure and aspects of the taste-terms ‘сладкий’ in Russian will be revealed, and it will be helpful to understand and properly use the taste language of Russians. The sense of taste, one of the close bodily experiences of humans, will be able to examine the influence and aspects of language as well as its role and function. Human beings have universality in the meaning and use of language as an experience based on common physical characteristics, but different characteristics exist according to culture and environment. Therefore, research through gustatory language will also be a helpful resource for understanding the concepts and cognitive processes of Russians.
