미군정기 아동노동법규와 미성년자노동보호법

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research is a study on the Child Labor Law in the South Korea from 1945 to 1947. Frist, this study revealed the recognition of child labor by United States Army Military Government in Korea and the concrete enactment process of enacting and implementing the Child Labor Law in September 1946. In addition, this study demonstrates the historical and institutional process of enactment and a series of discussions and enactment of the “Child Labor Law” in 1947 by South Korean Interim Legislative Assembly. The U.S. military government put forward ‘the theory of civilization’ as the purpose of the Child Labor Law, and the South Korean lawmakers proposed ‘the theory of reconstruction of an independent state.’ Each of them had different goals and objectives, but both enacted and implemented the Child Labor Law, conscious of the “most advanced” labor legislation implemented in North Korea. In the end, it was the Child Labor Law that was the ‘composite product’ created by Eastern and Western civilization, the regime competition of the Cold War and division, and the economic situation during the US military government.
