빅 히스토리와 인공지능 = Big History and AI : From Perspective of Information

국문 초록 (Abstract)

4차 산업혁명과 더불어 도래한 인공지능은 산업뿐만 아니라 인간에 대한 탐구를 지속해온 인문학 연구에도 새로운 반성을 요구하는 계기가 되고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 인문학에서 오래 동안 중요한 역할을 해온 기존의 역사학과는 다른 빅 히스토리라는 관점의 역사연구가 관심을 끌고 있다. 본 글은 퍼스 기호학의 관점에서 정보에 대한 포괄적 이해를 도모하고 이러한 정보적 관점에서 빅 히스토리라는 역사연구 방법을 비판적으로 살펴본다. 그리고 역사 연구에 있어서 인공지능 등장의 의미와 인공지능 기술의 활용 방안을 모색한다.

Artificial intelligence, which has come along with the Fourth Industrial Revolution, has become an opportunity to demand a new reflection not only in industry but also in humanities research that has continued to explore human beings. In this context, the Big history, which is different from the existing history research which has played an important role in humanities for a long time, attracts attention. In this article, I will try to provide a comprehensive understanding of information from the viewpoint of Peirce "s semiotics and critically examine the historical research method called big history from this information point of view. And in the study of history, the meaning of artificial intelligence and how to utilize artificial intelligence technology are sought.
