논난(論難)과 필화(筆禍)를 통해 본 조선 시대의 책문(策文)-『조선왕조실록(朝鮮王朝實錄)』속 책문(策文) 논난(論難)과 필화(筆禍)를 중심으로- = A Study on the Chaekmoon(策文) of Joseon Dynasty through Controversy and A Serious Slip of the Pen-A Study on the Controversy and a Serious Slip of the Pen of the Chaekmoon(策文) in the Joseonwangjosilrok(『朝鮮王朝實錄』)-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

策文이란 策題와 對策文을 통칭하는 용어로, 조선 시대의 과거 시험에서 가장 중요한 과정에 놓여 있었다. 策文을 작성하기 위해서는 시사적인 문제를 다루면서도 논리적인 합리성을 지녀야 하고, 문제를 파악하고 해결책을 제시할 수 있는 독창적인 사고와 비판적인 안목을 갖추어야 하며, 주장을 뒷받침할 수 있는 충분한 논거를 들 수 있어야 한다. 또 형식적 규범을 준수하면서 자신의 주장을 적절하게 드러낼 수 있는 문장력이 요구된다. 그러나 이보다 책문의 작성은 제시된 책제의 정확한 출제 의도를 파악하고 파악된 의도에 부합하는 내용을 통합적이고 논리적인 사고와 온축된 학문을 바탕으로 서술하여야 하기 때문에 어렵다.
조선 시대 있었던 책문 논란을 유형화해보면 형식과 규범, 용어와 문장, 내용의 이해와 해석에 관한 것으로 구분할 수 있다. 이 중 형식과 규범에 관한 논란은 다시 書體, 투식어의 누락, 문장의 격식에 관한 것으로 구분할 수 있고, 용어와 문장에 관한 논란은 음양서, 『장자』, 패관소품체의 용어와 문장에 관한 것으로 구분할 수 있고, 내용의 이해와 해석에 관한 논란은 책문에서 비판한 인물이나 책문으로 인해 비판받은 인물에 의한 것, 策題에 의한 것, 책문 자체의 내용에 의한 것으로 구분할 수 있다.
조선 시대에 있었던 책문에 관한 논란들을 정리하고 책문의 속성을 되돌아보면 조선 사회에 미친 책문의 영향력과 당대 조선의 사류들이 인식하고 있었던 책문의 가치에 대해서 분명하게 알 수 있다. 책문 논란은 책문을 정치적 연구의 대상에서 벗어나게 하는 것이면서 문학적 연구의 범주 안에 머물러두지 못하게 한다. 책문에 대한 새로운 방향의 접근이 필요해 보인다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Chaekmoon are collective terms for Chaekjae and Daechaekmoon, and were in the most important process in the past exams of the Joseon Dynasty. To write an Chaekmoon, you must have a logical rationality while dealing with current issues, an original thinking and a critical perspective to identify problems and provide solutions, and a sufficient argument to support your argument. It also requires a sentence that can properly reveal its claims while observing formal norms. However, the writing of the Chaekmoon is difficult because it grasps the intention of the correct examination of the presented problem and the contents that meet the understood intention are based on integrated and logical thinking and stacked study.
If we type the controversy of the Chaekmoon that was in the Joseon Dynasty, it can be classified into formal and norms, terms and sentences, understanding and interpretation of contents. Among them, the controversy about the form and norm can be classified into the typeface, the omission of the phrase, the formality of the sentence, and the controversy about the term and the sentence can be classified into terms and sentences of Yin-Yang books, 『Zhuangzi』, Paekwansopoom style, the controversy over the understanding and interpretation of the contents can be classified into the criticism of the person who criticized the Chaekmoon or the person who was criticized by the Chaekmoon, the problem, and the contents of the Chaekmoon itself.
When we summarize the controversy about the Chaekmoon in the Joseon Dynasty and look back at the attributes of the Chaekmoon, we can clearly see the influence of the Chaekmoon in the Joseon society and the value of the Chaekmoon recognized by the people of the Joseon Dynasty. The controversy over the Chaekmoon is that it is not allowed to be left within the category of literary research, while it is not allowed to be left out of the subject of political research. A new approach to the Chaekmoon seems necessary.
