니카라과의 경제 동향과 통상 및 투자 그리고 협력 환경에 관한 연구 = A Study on Economic Trends, Trade, Investment and Cooperation in Nicaragua

Nicaragua is geographically located in Central America and has a very large area. On the other hand, the national economy is poor, but it is very likely to develop. Nicaragua, where the Ortega regime is in power for a long time, is pushing for economic policies with high support from the people. It is pursuing various investment projects and taking an open attitude to trade with offshore countries. Recently, Korea and Nicaragua have concluded Korea-Central America FTA and future trade and investment scale between the two countries will become more active. Therefore, this paper conducted various studies on Nicaragua which has entered into an agreement with Korea, has high potential and has an open foreign economic structure. Nicaragua 's economic trends, major trade and investment and economic cooperation have been examined in detail and analyzed. Based on the results of the research, it was possible to increase the possibility of Korean companies investing in and entering Nicaragua in the future.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

니카라과는 방대한 국토를 갖추고 있고, 지형학적으로 중앙아메리카에 위치하고 있다. 또한, 자국 경제는 빈곤한 편이지만 향후 발전 가능성이 상당히 높다. 니카라과에서 장기간 집권하고 있는 오르테가 정권은 자국 내의 높은 지지에 힘입어 강력한 경제 정책과 더불어 다양한 투자 프로젝트를 활발히 추진하고 있다. 아울러 역외 국가들과의 관계에 있어 개방적인 정책 방향도 견지하고 있다. 최근에는 우리나라와 중미자유무역협정을 체결함으로써 양국 간의 투자와 교역 관계는 상당히 활발해질 것으로 예상하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 향후 높은 잠재력과 개방형의 대외 경제 구조를 갖춘 니카라과에 대하여 다양하고 포괄적으로 살펴보았다. 우선, 니카라과의 경제 동향과 주요 통상 및 투자 그리고 경제협력 현황을 상세히 고찰하였다 그리고 이에 관한 영향 요인들을 분석하였고, 도출된 연구 결과들을 기반으로 니카라과에 대한 우리나라 기업들의 역내시장 투자와 진출의 가능성을 제시하였다.
