촛불광장과 적폐의 여성화 = 촛불이 만든 것과 만들어가는 것들

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 박근혜 탄핵 국면에서 광장에 모여든 시민의 힘을 젠더 관점에서 분석함으로써 촛불의 동력이 무엇이었는지 탐색한다. 박근혜 탄핵 국면에서 촛불시민의 행보 속에는 두 개의 합의가 존재하는 것처럼 보였다. 하지만 그중 하나는 촛불의 이유가 된 합의였고 다른 하나는 ‘합의되지 않는 합의’ 혹은 ‘합의할 수 없는’ 합의였다. ‘전자는 박근혜 탄핵과 적폐청산이었는데, 이런 합의 속에서 촛불시민은 한 목소리를 내며 박근혜 탄핵과 정권교체라는 성과를 이루어 냈다. 합의할 수 없는/하지 않은’ 합의는 청산해야 할 대상의 젠더와 관련됐다. 광장은 박근혜와 최순실을 ‘여자’로 부르는 일에 합의한 것처럼 움직였고, 우병우와 황교안, 새누리당 등 청산해야할 적폐를 ‘여성화(feminization)’했다. 적폐 청산을 위해서는 반드시 지금의 ‘망한’ 공화국이 ‘여성화’되어 야만 할 것처럼 국가의 젠더분할은 광장 안팎에서 전방위적으로 일어났다. 공화국의 골간을 군인과 음부라고 고백한 정치학자의 실토는 결국 이러한 적폐의 여성화가 ‘더럽혀진 몸을 순결한 어머니로 복원해내는 대한의 아들들’이라는 비루한 남성공화국의 향수에 근거함을 드러내 주었다. 하지만 광장의 젠더를 지정하려는 시도는 번번이 좌절됐다. 오히려 ‘몫 없는 이’들은 소음을 일으키고 제 목소리를 들리게 함으로써 광장을 ‘더 정치적인’ 장소로 만들어 갔다. 과거 ‘촛불 여중생’, ‘촛불 소녀’, ‘하이힐’, ‘유모차 부대’ 등으로 불리면서 ‘촛불시민의 아이콘’이나 ‘시민의 피보호자’가 되곤 했던 이들은, 경계 바깥 바로 그 자리에서 ‘일치를 넘어선 불일치의 분배활동’을 시작한다. 누군가 주체로 호명 해주지 않아도 이미 주체인 몸들이 균열의 장을 만들어냈고, 이는 2016년 촛불이 혁명의 시작일 수 있겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study explores the energy of the candlelight rallies by analyzing the power of citizens gathered in the plaza shouting the impeachment of Park Geun Hye from the gender perspective. Candle-holding citizens in the plaza in the plaza had shouted Park Geun-hye"s impeachment and cleaning up accumulated evils with one voice. And finally achieved it. And while there seemed to move by a kind of consent to call Park and Choi as ‘woman’,Candle-holding citizens in the plaza had made accumulated evils like Woo, Hwang and Sanuri party feminization. The gender division of the nation had happend in and out the square as if the obsolete republic in the present must be "feminized" in order to eliminate entirely the accumulated evils. One the Political scholars who confessed the foundation of Republic as a soldier and a genitals revealed that such a feminization of the accumulated evils is based on the nostalgia of a fragile male republic as “the sons of Korea restoring a dirty body to a pure mother”. However, it was failed that the attempts to take the intiative in the plaza very time. Rather, the plaza have been becoming the political spot more and more by being heard voices of the person without any portion and making some noise. And now, the people who were regarded as a icon of candlelit vigils or the weaker of the citizen has started to ‘the distributional action of disharmony than agreement at the place beyond border. We could have the hope that there seemed to be a starting point of a revolution in the candlelit vigils 2016 because the body as a subject already had made a crack in the sphere despite not to call a subject.
