잠재성장모형을 활용한 사회학습이론과 일반긴장이론의 비교연구 = A Comparative Study of Social Learning and General Strain Theories Using Latent Growth Curve Modeling

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is a comparison analysis of social learning theory and general strain theory using latent growth models of longitudinal data. The data derived from a sample of 2,351 middle school students taken from National Youth Policy Institute from 2012 to 2015. The major findings of latent growth models showed that the model fits of heavy delinquent peer and general delinquent peer variables from social learning theory are excellent, but depression, aggression, and parents’ abuse models from general strain theory are not. Also, The path coefficients of different associations with minor, heavy, and general delinquent peers to juvenile delinquency are statistically significant, but the path coefficients of variables from general strain theory are statistically insignificant. Therefore, this study is consistent with prior findings that social learning elements of differential associations with delinquent peers have greater effects on juvenile delinquency than do elements of general strain theory.
