19세기 개화파의 농서 간행과 보급의 의의 -안종수(安宗洙)의 『농정신편(農政新編)』을 중심으로- = The Meaning of Agriculture Book Published and Distributed by Enlightment Party in 19C -Based on 『Nong-chung-sin-pyun(農政新編)』by An, Jong-su(安宗洙)-

An, Jong-su made efforts to introduce new agricultural knowledge by publishing 『Nong-chung-sin-pyun(農政新編)』. Enlightment Party considered it as a touchstone. They expected that if 『Nong-chung-sin-pyun』 which includes Western agricultural knowledge was distributed, Western civilization would popularized. Therefore, they intended to publish and distribute 『Nong-chung-sin-pyun』 using modern publication skill. However, Gap-sin-jung-byun(甲申政變) was occurred by Radical Enlightment Party. Many people accepted Enlightment Party negatively. They couldn`t promoted Enlightment. An, Jong-su didn`t engaged in politics for 10 years, because he was appointed out the part of Radical Enlightment Party. As the political climate became flexible, he resumed in politics, but because of farmers having more violent sentiment of anti-Japan, Enlightment Party wasn`t allowed to them. Under this circumstances, An, Jong-su was suspected of irrationality and took the lead an enforcement of the order for the cutting of topknots. In the end, the farmers in the territory expelled him, righteous armies(義兵) murdered him. After that, Kim, Il-je(金一濟) intended to distribute western agricultural knowledge, by publishing thousands of 『Nong-chung-sin-pyun』. However, Japan which won in Russo-Japanese War took over the reins of Chosun(朝鮮). Eventually, western agricultural knowledge began to accept regularly through Japan. An, Jong-su endeavored to introduce Japanese agricultural knowledge actively, being accompanied as an attendant of Group of inspection to Japan in 1881. Nevertheless, their effort by Enlightment Party were enveloped in and drifted by political waves. As Korea and other victims of Japan`s imperialism became enforced, western agricultural knowledge began to distributed systemtically in Chosun.
