사례관리 개념에 대한 쟁점 고찰 = A Study on the Definition of Case Management

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The fundamental cause of much of the confusion in case management practice is its lack of definition. This study analyzes the presentation of the case management concept in the literature and its definition in order to identify the issues related to these definitions. In analyzing the literature relating to the case management concept since the 1980s, I find that it has not been a regular focus. The study results show that the case management concept has not appeared regularly in the analysis of the related literature. Among the major issues of case management that do not appear regularly, the first concerns whether the term “case management” is valid or not. The second concerns whether more emphasis is placed on the supply of direct service or on that of indirect service, or whether it is desirable to integrate both services. Third, the relationship between case management and social work practice is analyzed. Further research is necessary on these concepts, case management and the related issues, with consideration for the domestic environment and the orientation of social work practice.
