The purposes of the study were to examine the status quo of educational technology research published by Korean Educational Technology Research and presented for the partial fulfillment of graduate courses between 1990 and 1995, and to provide the issues suggested from the results. Crucial findings from the study were as follow s: (1) The most researcher s were concerned about the categories of `` learning and inst ruction theoretical research and Computer - Based instruction ``.; (2) Majority of dissertat ion studies utilized true or quasi experimentation, and a large number of journal articles used true experimentation, theoretical review, and system development. ; (3) the large portions of study relied upon the data analysis method of T and F testing. ; (4) Paper s or books published by Jonassen, Merrill, Gagne, Hannafin, and Mayer Korean scholar s of Unna Huh, Sungik Park, Ilju Rha, Insung Jung, Sungho Kwon, Youngsoo Kim were the most frequently cited by the Korean researcher s. ; (5) The Korean researcher s did not establish research assumptions or interpret the results based on comprehensive review of related research results or theoretical construct s. ; (6) Generally, statistical analysis for was not suitable for drawing appropriate implications or interpretation of the results.
