Why are the Comport Women of the ‘Empire’? Park Yuha, professor in Japanese Literature, insisted that in her book, the forced mobilization of comport women in Korea is just mythicized discours and a single image formed over victimized women is fictitious, paying attention to the specific relation between colonized Korea and Imperial Japan, relation distinguished the former from the japanese occupied territory, for exemple, China and Indonesia. She tries to wipe sufferings off the collective memory and brings about a new emotion formed between subjects and empire; sympathy and pity. If her writings possess the similar logic with French Negationism, is it coincidental? or is it a natural result of Asiatic historical revisionism? The impossibility to estimate the exact statistics about the holocaust victims that came from both the destruction of the evidence on war crimes committed by Nazi during the Second World War and the their refusal of suspicion on the large-scale massacre, gives also paradoxically a legitimity to negationists who didn’t suggest any proof for justifying their arguments. As the Holocaust negationism is based on the unclearness of victim’s number, Park Yuha is also grounded on this ambiguity.
