부모의 우울, 지각된 가족기능, 양육태도, 유아의 내재화 및 외현화 문제행동 간의 구조적 관계 분석: 자기효과와 상대방효과를 중심으로 = The structural relationship among parent`s perceived depression, family functioning, parenting attitude and internalizing and externalizing problem behaviors of children: Focusing on actor and partner effect

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was not only to examine actor and parter effect of parents of infants’s perceived depression, family functioning, and parenting attitude but also to seek for its influences on internalizing and externalizing problem behaviors of their children. The research was conducted with 1,517 married couples who have infants from the 6th year of Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey and main findings of this study were listed below. The results showed that the depression had significant actor and partner negative effect on the family functioning and the parenting attitude and the family functioning also presented a significant actor effect on the parenting attitude. However, the results of partner effect of the family functioning, only from mother of infants, was significantly positive on the parenting attitude. Lastly, mother’s perceived depression showed a direct effect and an indirect actor effect on internalizing and externalizing problem behaviors of children whereas father’s perceived depression only showed its indirect partner effect. These results appear that in order to reduce internalizing and externalizing problem behaviors of children, both mother and father needs to perceive less depression but high family functioning and parenting attitude. In other words, to reduce internalizing and externalizing problem behaviors of children, researchers should treat parents of infants together rather than being focused on individuals.
