어머니의 양육스트레스가 유아의 문제행동에 미치는 영향: 어머니 심리적 특성의 매개효과 = The Effects of Mothers' Parenting Stress on Children's Problem Behaviors: Mediating Effects of Mothers' Psychological Characteristics

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to investigate the effects of mothers' parenting stress and psychological characteristics on children's problem behaviors. The data of 1,703 children aged between 49 and 55 months and their mothers from the 5th Korean Child Panel(2012) by Korea Institute of Child Care and Education, were used. The data were statistically analyzed with a model of structure and the model fitness was excellent. According to the analysis first, the mothers' parenting stress has a positive correlation with children' problem behaviors. Second, the mothers' self-esteem and self-efficacy out of mothers' psychological characteristics, have a negative influence on children's problem behaviors, while the mothers' depression has a positive relationship with children's problem behaviors. Third, the mediation of the mothers' psychological characteristics is fully effective in the process that the mothers' parenting stress influences on children's problem behaviors. The mothers' parenting stress gives indirect effect on children's problem behaviors with the mediation of mothers' psychological characteristics and the mediation effect is shown as significant by the Bootstrapping verification.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 어머니의 양육스트레스 및 심리적 특성인 자아존중감, 자아효능감 및 우울이 유아의 문제행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 있다. 육아정책연구소의 한국아동패널(PKSC) 5차년도(2012) 자료를 사용하였으며 수집된 자료는 월령 49개월 이상 55개월 이하의 1,703명의 유아와 해당 유아의 어머니이다. 각 변인간의 관계 및 영향력을 살펴보기 위해 구조모형으로 통계 처리하였는데 모델의 적합도는 매우 우수한 것으로 나타났다.
연구결과 첫째, 어머니의 양육스트레스가 유아의 문제행동에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 심리적 특성 중 자아존중감과 자아효능감은 유아의 문제행동에 부적 영향을 미치는 반면 어머니의 우울은 유아의 문제행동에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어머니의 심리적 특성은 어머니의 양육스트레스가 유아의 문제행동에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 매개변인의 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났으며, 부트스트래핑을 통해 매개효과가 유의한 것으로 확인되었다.
