The study aims to examine implication and necessity of high school, analyze profiles of high school loaded into the school`s notification site and DB of high school delivered by Korean Council for University Education (hereinafter referred to as KCUE) and thereby perform fundamental research to systematize high school profiles. As a result of analyzing profiles loaded into online notification sites of 2,360 high schools across the country, 48.7% have yet to upload school profiles and that even among the schools successfully uploading school profiles, the ones which uploaded curriculum (for 3rd grade of high school) took up only 26.2% of all. As a result of analyzing high school DB provided by the KCUE, it turned out that schools which left missing important information helpful to document assessment accounted for more than 50%. Even though information provided by each of the high schools serves as the basis for assessment of document evaluation for admission officer system, each high school lack effort to manage or delver key information. Finally, the study, based on what makes up profiles of each of the schools and high school DB entries delivered by the KCUE, filtered out useful entries making up school profiles through interview with admission officer of the University. As a result, it turned out that major category includes basic school information (high school type, admission criteria), the entire curriculum and the management status, level-based curriculum and specialized curriculum, school awards (participation type, number of participants and ward winners and etc), content of inner circles, volunteer programs, school project, current status and performance of personality development program and extracurricular program status.
