다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this article is to find a spiritual discipline method for missionaries according to their personality types and their spiritualities. To accomplish this, I discuss the importance of a missionary``s spirituality, the perception Korean missionaries have of spirituality, and the types of spiritualities. I also investigate the concept of personality, the personality types, and the MBTI(Mayers-Briggs Type Indicator) theory. Based on this research, I propose a spirituality training method for missionaries according to their personality and spirituality type. Whenever the foundation is weak, the structure that sits on it collapses and is entirely discarded. What is the foundational basis of missions? It is the spirituality of a missionary. All missions need fully equipped and prepared missionaries. Therefore, even if the number of missionaries we send is fewer, we need spiritually well trained missionaries. In particular, we must focus on the efficient preaching of the gospel in the training process. It is crucial that we constantly seek to send spiritually healthy missionaries. However, the reality for Korean missionaries is that their spiritual training is executed without any differentiation between individuals; there is no consideration for their personality type. In response to this issue, this article has come up with the following solution. Firstly, the different ways one can spiritually experience God can be categorized into four types. Secondly, a person``s personality type is classified in a system of sixteen patterns. If these two are put together, they divide into four types. Thirdly, based on the similarity between spiritual and personality type, they can be combined. Fourthly, if a missionary received spiritual training based on personality type, they may obtain healthier spirituality. However, the human personality cannot be categorized in 16 patterns. Also, the ways of an individual``s experience and relationship with God can number over the four types of spirituality. Furthermore, personality types may not match up with spirituality types. Yet, if personality and spirituality types can be classified more specifically, a more personal spiritual training can be found.
