Seong Ju Sun Seoksan Taesil in Joseon dynasty is the only place where placentas of Sejong``s prince and Won Son(元孫) except Munjong(文宗1414~1452) had been collected. Bowl, Buncheong Ware domed lids and small jar were excavated at Seong Ju Sun Seoksan Taesil while Seong Ju Sun Seoksan Taesil was maintained once in 1977. At this time, it was proved that An-tae-yong ceramic was different from nomal jar``s composition in Joseon dynasty, and it showed itself in an unique form. The bowl is placed under the small jar covered with the domed lids, and they are composed in one set. This is distinctive style which was excavated exclusively in Seong Ju Sun Seoksan Taesil, which is worthy of notice about the change of aspect of An-tae-yong ceramic. The composition of the artifacts which were enshrined in Sun Seoksan Taesil was remarkable, but it is also worthwhile to get attention to the reflection of various age styles. Although this is a set consisting of An-tae-yong ceramic, it is a presumption that the bowl and the small jar were used at birth of the owner of the placentas, and domed lids were made and used at burial of the owner of the placentas. Besides, by researching the features of the domed lids, the time of the placenta burying of the owner of the placentas has been presented. In this regard, the consideration to An-tae-yong ceramic of Taesil estimates the time of placenta burying of the owner of the placentas. Also It is meaningful to study on the early Joseon not properly established placenta burying culture.
