This thesis tried to explain the literary aeshtetics of An Jeongbog’s Poetry trough bubugo which contains 231 newly founded poems. Comparing Bubugo and Sunamjib, the latter was edited to show An as a moralist and Confucian. The poems which were contained in Bubugo, succeed in embody his academic outcome with a highly literary standard. He tried to draw the stage of GeogyeongGungli(居敬窮理) and contained the will to live in his poems. He observed the people’s custom and recited it with the tiny everyday life and peace. Also he used the Korean proverb and vernacular language as the poetic diction. An was difficult in political situation because of his political party and school. So he compared himself as a mute to express his frustration of statecraft. Although he could not demonstrate his ability to run a government and claimed himself as a mute, but he was the mute who wanted to shout to the world.
