    A lot of Studies have been done on the acceptance of Qian Qianyi(錢謙 益) related to literature and literary criticism in the late Josun. However, there are still problems such as route his books were brought into Joseon, person who recognized political defection of Qian Qianyi(錢謙益). This paper explained them clearly. Qian Qianyi(錢謙益) was widely known to <Liezhaoshiji 列朝詩集>. The book was first published in 1652. After 30 years, many Shidafu(士大夫) in Joseon alrealy read it. In <Dohyup Collection of Articles 陶峽叢說> written by Lee Eui Hyun(李宜顯), Kim Seok-Joo(金錫胄) bought <The biographies in Liechao shiji 列朝詩集小傳> in 1683. GyongHwaSeJog(京華世族) introduced literature and literary criticism of Qian Qianyi(錢謙益) for the first time in Joseon. They have monopolized knowledge and information since they were separated by faction and family. It took 130 years to know the fact that political defection of Qian Qianyi(錢謙益) for that reason. I thought it is hard to accept and improve literary criticism of Joseon in this circumstance. Qian Qianyi(錢謙益) provided literary criticism overcoming the writing theory of pseudo-ancient-style(擬古派) prose circle and summarized literary criticism in Ming(明). However, It is main cause he was warmly received in Joseon that he was political activist of anti-Qing(淸) and Neo-Confucianism scholar. So the news of his political defection came as a shock. As his political defection became known, Shidafu(士大夫) in late Joseon denounced him as well as literature and literary criticism of Qian Qianyi (錢謙益). But some Shidafu(士大夫) still put his criticism to literary use. Others defended his literature tacitly. This means his political defection is unrelated to his great literary achievements. Nevertheless, Qian Qianyi(錢謙益) has been forgotten gradually in late Joseon. It is a matter for studying how to concatenate between individual behaviour and literary achievements. It also is effective discussion other studies.
