경계의 확장과 한국한문학 연구의 미래 = Expansion of the Boundaries of Korea`s Sino-Korean Literature and Future of the Researches

This paper predicts the research directions in future, by taking notice of expansion trends of the boundaries among the situations that will be faced in future. Expansion of the boundaries was to consider things such as 1) boundaries are being expanded as domestic and overseas environments become multi-culturalized and multi-nationalized, 2) international exchange between researchers is increasing, 3) a knowledge market itself accepting research results requests the one-national border crossing, and 4) generality- oriented researches to overcome the limit of the modern West on the growth of East Asia will be processed. Accordingly, it was judged that active changes of viewpoints, methods, data, and interpretations of Sino- Korean literature of Korea are unavoidable. In chapter 2 of the paper, the research history after 1970s was summarized based on an academic journal, 『Research on Korean Literature in Classical Chinese(韓國漢文學硏究)』. As a result, the fact was examined that Sino- Korean literature research circles have accumulated academic performances while standing up to the problems of times from the first and have tried to make researches of multi-national ranges while supplementing intrinsic development theories since 2000s in earnest. Therefore, in chapter 3, 1) representative research tendencies which have been processed while bringing up problems about one-national characteristics in the viewpoint and uniqueness of national literature, 2) aspects of prevalence of researches on exchanges among Korea, China, and Japan, and 3) grounds and outlines of discourse of East Asia and the civilizational theory/cultural theory were paid attention to. In chapter 4, facing the time of boundary expansion, how researchers can implement productive researches was predicted. First, related to the trend of the civilizational theory/cultural theory, research topics considering worldly universality and cultural diversity were proposed. Second, considerations and possibility of “the Republic of East Asian literature” were diagnosed. This paper has the limit that specific exemplification and visible assignment were not suggested enough. But, in a future situation that learning is globalized and multi-nationalized, it can be a reference to what paths the researches of Sino-Korean literature can be chosen.
